A3 Summer Camp offers plenty of variety

From creative activities in the classroom to robust action in the gym, there's plenty of
variety at Battle Ground School District's A3 Summer Camp.
Action, academics and adventure are in store for children in kindergarten through grade 5 who attend A3 Summer Camp at Captain Strong Primary School . . . in Battle Ground. The next three-week camp begins Monday, July 30. Youngsters may enroll for just one week, but the summer’s first three-week program was especially popular with children and their parents. The camp includes an array of fun activities to exercise and stretch young minds and bodies in a supervised environment that stresses respect and responsibility along with the fun.
Lunch is included and transportation is offered between the Captain Strong and Yacolt, Glenwood Heights and Maple Grove primary schools.
The camp is under the auspices of Battle Ground Community Education and the school district’s Learning Support Programs office, with staffing provided by the Vancouver-based oneteamkids.com.
A3 Summer Camp is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. week days for $85 per week although scholarships are available. Parents may drop off children as early as 7 a.m. and pick them up as late as 6 p.m. for an additional fee. More information/registration: 885-6584 or battlegroundps.org and click on “BG Community Ed” at right and scroll down to the summer camp icon.
