Gary Bong directs Amboy Middle School band in Territorial Days parade July 14.
The Amboy Middle School band, directed by Gary Bong, played “You’re a Grand Old Flag,” and “Crazy Train” as it led a school district contingent in the July 14 Amboy Territorial Days parade. The group included School Board members John Idsinga, Mavis Nickels, Ken Root and Steve Pagel, Superintendent Shonny Bria, assistant superintendents Marcia Christian and David Gray, and Amboy Assistant Principal Steve Michaelis.
