BGHS and PHS ROTC programs earn national award

Prairie and Battle Ground high schools’ Air Force Junior ROTC programs have been selected for the 2013 “Distinguished Unit Award.” They were among 166 units selected for this national honor out of 609 that were eligible.

Voters say "yes" to replacement levy for schools

The banquet room at the Mill Creek Pub erupted in cheers, hugs, tears of happiness and high-fives Tuesday night, April 23, when results of the Battle Ground School District’s four-year maintenance and operations levy were announced. It passed with a “yes” vote of 54.01 percent . By week's end, with more ballots having been counted, the "yes vote" had topped 56 percent. Click :"read more."
