Five no-school days have been added to the present school-year calendar in order for teachers, principals and district administrators to get training in a new performance-evaluation system required by the state Legislature. The change in the calendar was approved by the School Board Monday, Feb. 11. . . . In a related change, the snow make-up day for north-end schools, which were closed on Jan. 15, has been changed from March 29 to Monday, March 4. South-end schools will not be in session March 4.
