Middle school health
What is taught
In accordance with state law, middle school PE courses include instruction in health as well as comprehensive sexual health education. View the lesson plans:
Participation
If your child will participate:
If your child will participate in all the comprehensive sexual health lessons, you do not need to take any action.
Opting out:
If after reviewing the curriculum you want to opt out your child from receiving some or all of the comprehensive sexual health instruction, please complete the opt-out form located in Skyward. Get directions for opting out or editing your selection.
You must opt out your child for each course, even if you have opted them out in the past. Students who are opted out of these lessons will be given an alternate, required health assignment.
