2026-27 school year calendar
The district’s board of directors recently approved next year’s academic calendar. First day of school: Tuesday, Sept. 1, for first through 12th grades. Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten students will have a staggered start to help students get acclimated to the school environment on the first days of school. The first full day of school for kindergartners and transitional kindergartners is Friday, Sept. 11. Key dates include:
First day of school: Sept. 1, 2026
Thanksgiving break: Nov. 25-27, 2026
Winter break: Dec. 21-Jan. 1, 2027
Spring break: April 5-9, 2027
Last day of school: June 15, 2027 (unless there are weather-related closures that must be made up at the end of the school year)
Late starts and waiver/inservice days may be added at a later date.

School board calendar
All regular school board meetings are held virtually and at the Lewisville Campus in room C-26, 406 NW 5th Ave., Battle Ground, WA. Most months, meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays starting at 6 p.m. Special meetings and work sessions may be held at different times.

Before- and after-school care
