Crisis lines
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Text or call 988 or 800-273-8255.
The Clark County Crisis Line (360-696-9560 or 800-626-8137) is staffed by a team of mental health professionals and certified peer counselors who are trained in crisis intervention. See Washington Crisis Services.

Mental health resources
Battle Ground Public Schools has counselors at all of its schools to support students and connect them to mental health resources when needed. The district also has partnerships with mental health partners in the community who can help students in crisis. See mental health resources.
TeenTalk 360-397-2428, is a “warmline” offering nonjudgmental peer-to-peer support for a variety of topics, including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, LGBTQIA+ concerns, family and friends, school, STIs and health issues and sports. Food, supplies, housing and more resources
Our Family and Community Resource Center helps meet the needs of families faced with housing instability and similar economic challenges. Students who lack a fixed, regular and adequate nighttime residence may qualify for services that support their education during times of transition.
Washington State Governor’s Office of the Education Ombuds (OEO)
The Washington State Governor’s Office of the Education Ombuds (OEO) is an independent state agency that helps to reduce educational opportunity gaps by supporting families, students, educators, and other stakeholders in communities across WA in understanding the K-12 school system and resolving concerns collaboratively. OEO services are free and confidential. Anyone can contact OEO with a question or concern about school.
OEO listens, shares information and referrals, and works informally with families, communities, and schools to address concerns so that every student can fully participate and thrive in our state’s public schools.
