Online Learning
Online courses provide students the freedom and flexibility of personalized instruction from certificated teachers. Students can access their course material, assignments and assessments 24/7! Successful online learners are self-motivated, organized, task-oriented and good communicators.
Students in grades K-8 can enroll in Battle Ground Virtual Academy, the district’s fully virtual K-12 school. Certificated teachers support students through email and consultations.
High school students can enroll full-time in Battle Ground Virtual Academy, or attend their home high school and take some online courses through Battle Ground Public School’s online learning program.
See your high school counselor about three online learning options:
Students can take up to three online courses as part of their six-period high school schedule for FREE at Battle Ground or Prairie high school.
Students can add 1 or 2 class periods to their school day through Battle Ground Virtual Academy.
Students who want to take more than three online classes need to register full time at Battle Ground Virtual Academy on the River HomeLink campus.
IMPORTANT
Students are required to pass the Online High School Orientation course before enrolling in online classes.
TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS
